Terms of service.

In order to book with D. Smith Creative for any projects, all clients must agree to the designated Terms of Service. Below is all necessary information for potential projects.

Booking Confirmation: Please allow 24 hours after booking to receive confirmation of appointment. You will receive an email with further details upon approval.

Booking Deposit: All photoshoot sessions have a mandatory 50% deposit. Deposit must be paid to secure the booking date. Booking is scheduled on a first come, first serve basis so it is best to pay as soon as possible.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellation of the photoshoot by the client less than 24 hours prior to the start of the shoot shall incur a $50 cancellation fee, which is to be collected by the photographer at their discretion and the booking fee will not be refunded. Should any event occur that delays, disrupts, or cancels the photoshoot, which is outside of the control of the client or photographer, the shoot may be rescheduled without fee or penalty.

Late Policy: There is a $2.00 per minute fee assessed for every minute the photoshoot is delayed. Should the time exceed 30 minutes with no communication, we reserve the right to cancel the photoshoot and the booking fee will not be refunded.

Overtime Policy: There is a $1.00 per minute fee for every minute the photoshoot goes over time. Should the photoshoot exceed 30 minutes past the allotted time, half of the photoshoot total price will be charged.

Weather Policy: On the day of the photoshoot, the client or photographer may opt to reschedule the shoot due to inclement weather. No fee or penalty shall be incurred should the shoot need to be rescheduled due to inclement weather.

Commercial Usage Approval: All photoshoot pictures are fair use for PERSONAL USE only. Should you desire to use any photos from D. Smith Creative for commercial use, an additional agreement must be contracted.

Turnaround: Raw image proofs will be sent 1-2 days after the photoshoot. Once touch-up images are selected, please allow up to 7-10 business days to receive edited photos. If you would like to add edits or swap out a touch-up photo, please update us within 24 hours of sending initial photo selection.

Additional Edits: Any additional edits are $20 per edit.

Travel Charge: Traveling is $15 per hour. To calculate cost, use 3702 Frankford Rd, Dallas, TX as starting point.
